Take on the challenge of one of the world’s most iconic marathons and help older adults find community and purpose in later life.
Over 55,000 people take part in the TCS London Marathon each year. Starting from Greenwich Park, the 26.2 mile route includes famous London landmarks such as the Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.
By running for Team u3a in the TCS London Marathon 2026, you will be raising money for The Third Age Trust, the charitable organisation which supports around 1,000 u3as across the UK. At local u3as, older adults learn new things, share skills and have fun. By meeting together, our members create new communities. With u3a, no one needs to be lonely in later life.
We have a limited number of charity places in the TCS London Marathon. We are asking each runner to raise a minimum of £2,500, before gift aid. In addition, if you are offered a charity place, there is a non-refundable registration fee of £100.
