Vice Chair elections 2025
Voting now open
We have two candidates standing for the role of Vice Chair. The winning candidate will take up their new role at the AGM on 15 October 2025.
These candidates have already been reviewed by the Board's Nominations Committee to recommend the candidate that best meets the skills and experience that were listed in the candidate pack. In particular, we were looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following:

Developing partnerships with third sector organisations

Developing or managing academic/learning strategies

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Safeguarding
-
Volunteering and volunteer management
-
Marketing and communications
-
Fundraising or income generation

Based on these criteria, it is the view of the Nominations Committee that the candidate that best meets the skills and experience required is Sheila Crawley.

How to vote
Voting is now open and closes at 5pm on 11 September 2025.
If your u3a is registered to vote, your designated voting representative will have received an email on Thursday 7 August with a link to vote.
Each u3a can only vote once, and your vote will only be counted if it is submitted by your registered voting representative, using the email address they provided upon registration.
Results will be announced the following week and the successful candidate will take up the role at this year's AGM.
