Teatime at Peggy's: A Glimpse of Anglo-India

For 15 years, Clare & her travel writer husband Stephen McClarence visited a small Indian town to record the memories of the mixed-race Anglo-Indian community there & learn about an Alice in Wonderland world of pet mongeese, Mulligatawny soup, Monsoon Toad Balls & moonlight picnics in the jungle.

  • These speakers are to be contacted by u3a members only, and the talks must be presented to u3a groups only.

  • If the talk is in-person, travel expenses only are to be negotiated by the u3a and the speaker directly.

  • Third Age Trust staff, Trustees and Trust Volunteers may be involved in processing my submission.
