I made an opera themed art journal. This page was inspired by Donna Elvira from Don Giovanni. Mixed media, mostly acrylics.
My watercolour painting is of a young Berber woman in traditional costume. Silver coins were often used to adorn headgear and could be removed and sold if necessary.
"Snap!" - crayon & graphite
I used watercolour pencils and a bit of paint to create my girls in their traditional welsh costumes. We all loved wearing our costumes on St.David's Day (also my birthday!)

A pencil drawing of a graceful ballet dancer wearing her ballet costume. Sometimes it is good to do a black & white drawing using the pencil for various shadings.
Since meeting Henry Higgins the English matador (who was actually Columbian, and a dreadful flirt) in Andalusia in the 60’s and being invited by him to tour Spain dancing the flamenco I have been fascinated by all things Spanish and particularly Flamenco.Incidentally Henry died in a hangliding accident in 1978.
As a ballet lover I love the costumes - this is a representation of Swan Lake in acrylic.
Party time anyone? Hostess available.
South American costumes has always fascinated me, including the punk-like feather headdress I used gouache paints on paper.
Loosely inspired by the upcoming Strictly 2023 season. My vibrant permanent marker pens show my salsa-inspired outfit. Just a shame I can neither fit into it nor be famous enough to star in it.
Watercolour of Lodestone Border Morris dancers in Devon who always draw a crowd whenever they perform.
