Malvern u3a Solo Group celebrate Picnic in the Park

Members of Malvern u3a's Solos group celebrated the Jubilee with a Picnic in Priory Park.
The group started in September 2021 for people living alone to begin socialising again as restrictions eased. The purpose was for members to meet up monthly and connect with likeminded people for social activities and interests.
Group member Mary says, "Nine months later Solos is thriving with a growing membership-dynamic and friendly with a feeling of wellbeing that comes from bringing people together. There’s plenty of laughter and fun, sharing and connecting at these events."
