I have been a freelance theatre lighting designer since 1985. I have lit operas and plays in 26 countries, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the New York Metropolitan Opera, La Scala Milan and Sydney Opera House. I have also lit plays in the UK, Ireland and the USA.

Let There Be Light

The first half of my 45 minute talk is about technical aspects of lighting, eg the lights used, the rehearsal period, the change to LED. The second half is a series of photographs of operas and plays I have lit.
