I was captain of BA 2969 in Dec 2000 and retired 2 years later from BA. Then able to talk rather more freely about the incident in BBC Derbyshire (interview of the week), Jeremy Vine show etc., also CNN and Fox News interviews. I corrected the inaccurate information held.

The cockpit intrusion on flight BA 2069 - PART 1 - I welcome you to the cockpit

Part 1 -I illustrate how near the aircraft was to becoming lost using real data from the aircraft. 30-45 mins. PART 2 -Is the same length, and traces the cover up through FOI requests, finally ending in a parliamentary debate. British registered aircraft were mandated to lock cockpit doors.
